Between 26th January and 1st February, we met with 30 youths and teachers in Romania to talk about Syria. During the meeting, The main goal of the meeting was the fight against racism and discrimination, to share migrants and refugees issues in discussions and findings with decision-makers and policy-makers.
In this context, We organized various activities.The head of the Braşov School Inspectors Ariana BUCUR and the school inspectors, the Head of Braşov Immigration Information Center Astrid HAMBERGER, the Braşov Police Department Representatives Children association officials, immigrants from Syria, Dominican Republic, Venezuela to Romania also joined. in the meetings with young people, accompanied by some interesting ideas and activities immigrants views were exchanged
We opened a painting exhibition with the theme" I am Syrian, I am a human being "at the entrance of Andrei Shaguna High School, one of the most popular schools in Braşov. We sent invitations to the participants to visit the exhibition. We wanted to get their views about the exhibition by preparing a special guest book for the visitors. Our exhibition took full marks in the exhibition. With this exhibition our aim was to tell the truth of Syria to Europe. One of the notes written in the guest book attracted our attention. The children portrayed the persecution in Syria very painfully. The pictures were very emotional.
